Yoga Tue 9/14/10 – 11/16/10 6:00 PM -- OR -- Thur 9/16/10 – 11/18/10 7:05 PM Bring some centering to your life. This class includes breathing techniques, hatha yoga postures and meditation/relaxation and is suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Performing these exercises improves flexibility, strength, balance and energy flow. This results in improved body alignment, clearer mind, and reduction in pain and fatigue. Pregnant clients are welcome to join this class as modifications are given for each trimester. Get on the Ball!
Improve your cardiovascular health, strength and balance and create a lean, sculpted body while having some fun with the stability ball, medicine ball, bands and small weights to mix things up.
Pilates Matwork Thur 9/16/10 – 11/18/10 6:00 PM Pilates is a method of increasing functional core strength and flexibility. It strengthens and tones muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance, and unites the body and mind. This course introduces additional Pilates exercises to challenge the core muscles and adds cardio work, fitness balls, medicine balls, small weights and other props to enhance exercises. If you have no Pilates experience, you can sign up for a couple of private sessions before starting this class.
